About The Sector

The Biotechnology and Food Enrichment Research and Development Desk is a specialized unit within the government food sector dedicated to advancing food quality, safety, and nutritional value through scientific innovation. The desk focuses on applying modern biotechnology techniques and food enrichment strategies to address malnutrition, improve public health, and enhance the overall resilience of the national food system. Core Responsibility

The desk is responsible for conducting and coordinating research on food biotechnology and enrichment methods aimed at improving the nutritional quality of staple foods.
